our mission
The Jerome Burke Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the African American community by improving the economic opportunities of African American men through scholarship, mentoring, and entrepreneurial support. The Foundation joins forces with community partners who believe, as we do, in nurturing the brilliance, resilience, and promise that already exists within the African American community.
Our support
The Foundation provides scholarships to graduating African American high school males who plan to attend accredited colleges, universities, or trade schools. In addition, our Entrepreneurial Lab and mentoring programs offer hands-on learning, career exploration, and leadership development to help students build confidence and succeed beyond the classroom.
